Picture25The Numaish Festive Fair is taking place from Fri 28 – Sat 29 Sept at the Godolphin Ballroom in Jumeirah Emirates Towers.

As always, Numaish has curated an enticing lineup of the latest in Indian designer wear, and one of my favorite labels showcasing this month is Anavila.

‘Anavila’ translates to ‘pure’ in the ancient Indian tongue of Sanskrit, and is also the name of the founder of this beautiful fashion label.

The Numaish Winter Show is happening tomorrow! Can’t wait! It’s always a pleasure browsing through the stalls of their selected designers, and I have always managed to come home with a very unique piece.

Today I am introducing you to Anuj Bhutani. Do look out for his very wearable and oh so stylish pieces at the Numaish Winter Show (happening this Saturday at Murooj Rotana from 11 am to 9 pm).

Cheers to the long weekend! And if you are about to indulge in yet another round of retail therapy, you might as well splurge your wallets someplace outside the malls and grab a few uniquely stunning bargains.

Numaish is back with the Numaish Winter Show, and it is taking place at Murooj Rotana this Saturday 10th December from 11 am to 9 pm. Skim through the stalls of some of the best upcoming fashion designers from India, Pakistan, the UAE and the United Kingdom and stand out from the crowd in stunning ethnic and Indo-Western outfits that are guaranteed to ooze envy in your social circle!

One of the talented designers to look out for at Numaish is Aiman Agha. Following the footsteps of her father who specialized in traditional embroidery, Aiman went on to graduate from NIFT Delhi. Her style pays homage to traditional Indian embroidery, yet somehow manage to be boldly modern and perfectly befitting for the woman of today.

The Numaish Winter Show is set to take place this coming Saturday 10th December at Murooj Rotana. The exhibition is a great time to check out the latest in Indian fashion and stock up on trendy ethnic and Indo-Western pieces.purvi doshi

The exhibition hosts a long list of well-known Indian fashion designers, and one paticular designer I am especially keen on meeting (and hopefully shopping with!) is Purvi Doshi. Her self-named label has already created waves in the Indian fashion industry. Her pieces are traditional yet timeless, and the sole premise of her brand is sustainability, and being kind to the eco-system. I had a wee chat with Purvi. Read on to know more about her latest collection, her stance on Indian fashion and tips on how to stay ethnically and ethically chic!

Great news fashionistas, the Numaish Winter Show is set to take place on Saturday 10th December. If you are a big a fan of Indo-Western silhouettes like me, you really have to visit Rajat Tangri’s stall at Numaish! With a special penchant for the quirky and effortlessly blending East with West, his styles are for women of confidence and panache. I had the pleasure of chatting with him right before the show. Read on to see what he has in store for us…

I was at the Numaish Winter Show last Saturday, and spent a good deal of time (and money!) on the colourful designer items up for sale. Have a browse through the Numaish gallery to see some highlights from the event by clicking here.

A number of upcoming designers had stalls at the Numish Winter Show, many of whom had come down from overseas.

However, Suchita Pandey from the Suchita’s Stylista brand is a UAE resident! This is great news for us UAE dwellers as you can choose from her extensive range of Indian and Indo-Western outfits, and have them tailored to your individual size and tastes, and local delivery ensures you get your parcel super fast 🙂

I am super excited about the upcoming Winter Show by Numaish! Scheduled to be held at Al Murooj Rotana on 19th December, this is a must-visit event for all you ladies out there who want a unique designer piece for your wardrobe.N&S GAIA at Numaish Dubai fashion brand meghalaya (2)

Of all the designers coming to the show, I have a soft corner for N&S GAIA. Not only does this brand have an environmental conscience, but they are main ethos lies in reviving the craftsmanship of the weaving community in Meghalaya.
