If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I’m a sucker for great highlighters. Of all the highlighters I’ve had the pleasure of trying, my unbiased favorite is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Powder in C-Pop. It’s a universally flattering shade, and no one seems to get the formulation as spot-on as Becca. Their pressed powder highlighters are so beautifully milled with just the right amount of believable sheen, and they never expose unsightly pores as many ‘sparklier’ counterparts tend to do.
Whilst the C-Pop has this gorgeous pale pink champagne hue that sits well for day to night, the Gold Pop shade is all out glamorous and perfect for that Summer Diva look.
Lucky me! I got sent the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Gold Pop, in all 3 formulations; liquid, cream and pressed powder. How do these formulations differ, and which one suits your beauty needs? Read on for more.
I got introduced to German makeup brand Zoeva at the Sephora Summer 2017 launch last year, after which the Zoeva Nude Spectrum Eye-Shadow Palette has become a ‘can’t live without’ staple in my makeup stash.
This summer, Sephora Middle East is launching the much-coveted Zoeva Opulence collection featuring an extravagant eye-shadow palette, a ritzy blush palette and a luxurious vegan brush set.
I am now the proud owner of not one, but two Zoeva eye-shadow palettes! While the Nude Spectrum features earthy tones and a balanced mix of shimmery and matte, the brand new Zoeva Opulence Eye-Shadow Palette lives up to its name with a predominantly metallic range of shades that exude the finer things in life.
Many a makeup palette are created with inspirations of the season, but rarely have I come across ones that are inspired by an entire city.
NYX Cosmetics has come up with the Wanderlust Lip & Eye Collection that are dedicated to seven major cities around the globe.
There’s one for Los Angeles, Madrid, Paris, London, Coopenhagen, Vancouver… and Dubai!
Sephora Middle East is flooding with absolutely drool-worthy holiday makeup palettes, but if there’s one I really have to recommend splurging on, it has to be the Tarte Treasure Box Collector’s Set.
When it comes to fashion, I’m anything but mainstream. I’ve always been drawn to the bizarre, the bohemian, and oftentimes the overly loud and colorful.
Earlier this month I was at Pull & Bear, and spotted this black sweat-shirt. Nothing bizarre in that you’d say… till you see the sleeves! The sleeves on this bad-boy are coated in faux fur and makes the wearer resemble an exotic bird of sorts. Ofcourse I had to have it!
Influenster, one of the largest product discovery and reviews platforms on the online web, has finally landed in the UAE and I am super excited to be one of the first bloggers to receive a #VoxBox from them. This month, we got introduced to 4 different makeup products from none other than drugstore brand Max Factor.

Here’s a look at the products I used to create this look:
Swedish makeup brand IsaDora is still relatively new in the UAE, although the brand was established way back in 1983. Reasonably priced, fragrance-free and clinically tested, IsaDora can be bought across a long list of retail outlets including Lifestyle.
I was recently sent this absolutely #Isadorable bag of IsaDora makeup, and got busy playing with my new stash. I even came up with a very doable, everyday makeup look and wanted to share this with you here…
