As much as I love my eggs sunny side up, I often smear uncooked eggs on my face. Gotta love DIY Beauty.
This super simple face mask really does deliver on an instant, dewy glowing complexion and you probably already have all the ingredients in your pantry. And for those of you who fear the stench of raw eggs, the orange and honey really do manage to mask it up!

This is NOT a recipe post 😆 . As much as I love my eggs #sunnysideup I often smear uncooked eggs on my face. Gotta love #DIYBeauty . Tezzy's DIY Eggy Glow Mask ✨ . Step 1: Take 1 Al Jazira Golden Eggs (their fortified eggs are enriched with extra skin-loving Omega 3) & seperate the egg white. Whip till frothy #armworkout . Step 2: Squeeze the juice of half a mandarin into the egg white. Freshly squeezed orange is high in Vitamin C, great for #glowingskin . Step 3: Add a generous heaped teaspoon of honey. Honey is a natural antibacterial and soothes, moisturizes and protects the skin . Step 4: Whip it all up together . Step 5: Brush onto the face evenly. Allow to dry slightly, and add a second layer . When it comes to skincare, I am a huge fan of natural ingredients and love to whip up all-natural concoctions of my own. Given the temperatures are only crawling higher and higher, I decided to experiment with creating a face and body mist.
I recently bought a bag full of premium dried rose buds from Carrefour (mainly because they look so pretty, and boy do they smell divine!), and as I was pondering over what I’d do with them, a warm cup of Earl Grey tea in hand, the scent combination of the two hit me right there and then… and Tezzy’s DIY Earl Grey Tea & Rose Mist was born.
Making this mist is so ridiculously simple, that I doubt you’d want to use store-bought ever again. And given you are making it from scratch, you know its free of any nasties and brimming with natural skin-loving goodness. Here is what you will need:
I’ve been on a Matcha Green Tea high lately. I’ve had it in traditional tea form, as an iced tea, and even as a Nice-Cream (click here if you missed out on the recipe). I’ve even incorporated it into my beauty regime!
This DIY Matcha Green Tea Peel Off Mask is super easy to make, costs you peanuts, feels absolutely divine, and works wonders at restoring that lost glow.
Turns out the Kardashians cannot take all the credit for the contouring epidemic that has hit the beauty industry. It’s been an insider know-how all along, and Hollywood diva Marilyn Monroe used this technique to accentuate her sultry lips. No scary lip injections needed, just a clever play with colours to give the illusion of fuller, sexier, more defined lips.
I decided to try out lipstick contouring for myself. Here is how I did it:
