Eid Mubarak all! I hope you had a wonderful time with your loved ones, and feasted like kings. Here is my little one, decked up in her Eid finery from Fayon.

I first came across Fayon at a Numaish exhibition last year. This Indian label specializing in children’s wear caught my attention for its gorgeous attention to detailing. From traditional Indian to a fusion of Western silhouettes, Fayon really knows how to dress up little ones and it is therefore no wonder that the designer behind this beautiful Delhi-based brand is a mother herself.

Today I am introducing you to the very talented Preeti Jatia, an interior designer who turned her talents into fashion once her two beautiful young daughters came along.

I too am a mother to a little 6 year-old, and Fayon was kind enough to send her this gorgeous silk lehenga last Eid. It’s her favorite outfit till date, and she has been nagging me to get her more!

Are you ready for the Numaish Festive Show tomorrow?! I for one have a very lengthy wishlist at hand, and am super excited about visiting the stalls of prominent and upcoming fashion designers from India. Absolutely love Indian fashion, especially Indo-Western silhouettes!

Today I’m introducing you to Pratik and Priyanka, the duo behind the funky label I am Design. And yes, they are going to be selling their wares at the Numaish Festive Show this Friday and Saturday at Hotel Conrad Dubai!

Here is what he has to say about his stall at Numaish, his journey into fashion, and key trends we need to look out for…

Numaish, the curator of couture Indian fashion, is set to showcase yet another spectacular fair on 23rd and 24th September in Hotel Conrad, Dubai. If you are looking for unique fashion-forward Indian designer pieces, be in traditional or out of the box Indo-Western, this is a fair you cannot afford to miss.

The Numaish Festive Fair is showcasing a long list of prominent and upcoming Indian fashion designers, and one to watch out for on the list is House of Sohn. I had a wee chat with Sohni Patel, the very young and talented designer behind the very Indo-Western label. Read on about her journey into the fashion trade, what she will be showcasing at Numaish, and her top tips for keeping on-trend.

Numaish Exhibitions is back once again with a brand new lineup of exquisite new-season trends from India’s the hottest upcoming designers. The Numaish Festive Fair is going to take place in the weekend of 23rd and 24th September in Conrad Hotel, Dubai and is open to the public inclusive of free valet service.

I have been associated with the Numaish fair for 3 seasons now, and being a huge fan of boho and Indo-Western silhouettes, I always look forward to visiting the stalls. At Numaish, you are sure to find something extraordinarily different.

One of the designers who has been a regular at Numaish ever since I got associated with it is Suchita Pandey. Hailing from Jaipur, arguably the cultural capital of Indian textiles, Suchita turned her love for fashion into a very successful career with the launch of her label Suchita’s Stylista.

I am Trouble by KC is yet another unique fashion label to be showcasing at the Numaish Summer Show on 29th – 30th April (at Hotel Conrad). With a name that spells ‘trouble’, this fun, quirky brand has a notoriously colourful range of unique fashion clothing, footwear and accessories for men and women. Designer- Kunal

‘I am Trouble by KC’ was conceptualized and created in Delhi by the suave, young Kunal Chatterjee. Let’s have a chitchat with him on his take on fashion, and what his spunky brand has in store for the Numaish Summer Show.

One lucky reader has won that gorgeous ethnic-inspired dress by Suchita’s Stylista in The Tezzy Files’ competition last week. If that wasn’t you, don’t fret! You can still own a designer piece from Suchita Stylista’s latest collection, and browse through a whole array of other inspirational designers at the Numaish Winter Show that is scheduled to be held this Saturday 19th December at Murooj Rotana, Dubai.

Today I’m talking to Suchita Pandey, the lovely designer behind the Suchita’s Stylista label. Read on to know more about her fashionable career, and her must-haves for an Indian wardrobe.

I am super excited about the upcoming Winter Show by Numaish! Scheduled to be held at Al Murooj Rotana on 19th December, this is a must-visit event for all you ladies out there who want a unique designer piece for your wardrobe.N&S GAIA at Numaish Dubai fashion brand meghalaya (2)

Of all the designers coming to the show, I have a soft corner for N&S GAIA. Not only does this brand have an environmental conscience, but they are main ethos lies in reviving the craftsmanship of the weaving community in Meghalaya.

I had the pleasure of meeting Saudi Arabian fashion designer Daneh at the Galeries Lafayette Fashion Forward Pop Up Store event, where her A/W 2015 collection will be available for sale till 27th October.ffwd daneh saudi designer

I fell in love with her chic and sophisticated line of clothing. Daneh herself exudes the elegance of a refined lady who knows less is more, and she is the perfect name and face for her brand.

I had a chat with Daneh about her label, the challenge of being a Saudi designer, and fashion tips she lives by. Read on for more!
