I am heading off on a summer holiday, and one of my pet peeves has been trying to squeeze in all my essentials into the constricted luggage allowance. This time round, I am carrying 9 eye-shadows, 2 blushes, 1 highlighter, 1 bronzer and 2 lip and cheek stains in my hand-bag. Quite a stash you say? Well here’s news for you, this entire list of goodies is stocked in The Balm Voyage Vol. II palette, and its actually as slim and compact as my passport!

I am SO in love with this brush. Kinda sad admitting I have such strong feelings for a makeup brush, but The One Perfecting Brush by Becca Cosmetics really is life-changing. When I first spotted this brush at the Sephora Middle East Summer 2016 event, I knew I had to get my hands on one. The bristles felt so luxuriously soft, and I loved the solid, earthy look of the handle.

Becca’s The One Perfecting Brush retails for AED 225 at Sephora, and is therefore not the cheapest of makeup brushes. However, I really do believe it will save me a good deal of time and money in the long-run. Here is why:

I recently posted this #MakeupSelfie on Instagram, a rather minimal look that I think is perfect for Ramadan and late-night Iftar and Suhoor soirees. Quite a few of you have inboxed me on how to get this look, so without much ado I am sharing my Ramadan Makeup Look ‘recipe’ with you 🙂

I found this little sampler tub in my goodie bag from the Sephora Middle East event last month, and it has become a staple in my handbag ever since.

Sephora Whipped Cream Body Moisturizer with Watermelon Extract review by The Tezzy Files Dubai Beauty and Lifestyle Blogger (1)

Brand new under the Sephora umbrella, this Sephora Whipped Cream Body Moisturizer with Watermelon Extract is delightfully light and airy, and has a cooling effect when it comes in contact with the skin. It has a delicious scent of freshly cut watermelon which makes it ideal for the increasingly hot weather we are destined to face in the coming months, and best of all, it is sensitive enough to share with little ones.

I am a huge fan of natural, organic beauty products, and as a Dubai dweller, I am extremely proud of Shiffa, a home-grown organic beauty brand conceptualized and created by Dr. Lamees Hamdan.

The name ‘Shiffa‘ is derived from the Arabic word meaning ‘to heal’. Delving into the beauty secrets of ancient Arabia, the brand encompasses a unique holistic stance at skincare. At the Sephora Middle East event last month, I spent a good deal of time chatting with the ladies at the Shiffa counter. They are introducing a host of brand new products for Summer 2016, and many of their best-loved formulas are getting a makeover, ensuring they are now 90% organic.

I have been using the Shiffa Olive and Mint Cold Pressed Arabian Soap, and wanted to share my thoughts on this pretty parcel.

I got sent the High Impact Brows palette about a week ago, and have been using it ever since. I love compact, multitasking beauty products and this particular palette is a life-saver for girls on the run.

This palette, as the name suggests, was designed to help you up your eyebrow game. However, the four very earthy accommodating shades can be used as eyeshadows as well.

The beauty industry is slowly but surely shifting to a more organic stance. A plethora of age-old natural ingredients have been reintroduced in new-age packaging, and by far the leader of the roost has been the very sought-after Argan Oil.

What is Argan Oil? Where does it come from? Why is it such a beauty hype? Read on for more.

I recently got introduced to Gosh, a high-quality cruelty-free and paraban-free beauty brand from Denmark. I was treated to a Gosh makeover at the Lifestyle store in Dubai Mall (click here if you missed out on the post), and came home with quite a few of their amazing, very reasonably priced products.

One of the products I have been using on a regular basis is the Gosh Primer Plus+ Illuminating Skin Perfector, a long name for a product with an impressively long list of benefits 🙂

I recently got introduced to Gosh Cosmetics, and got to take away a few of their gorgeous, very reasonably priced products to try out for myself. Come to think of it, most of the goodies I got are ‘all about the base’ 🙂 I seem to be in dire need to up my base-makeup ammunition, and am absolutely loving these three Gosh products:

As one of the region’s premium beauty and grooming service providers to over 600,000 customers in 5 countries, NStyle Beauty Lounge needs no introduction. The latest addition to their ammunition of beauty tools is their cutting-edge Hydra Facial MD treatments.

The Hydra Facial MD range has been an international success, and has a celebrity following including Paris Hilton herself. I got invited to try out their 30 minute Booster HydraFacial MD Treatment, and two days on, I am still enjoying the #facialafterglow effects 🙂
