HydraFacial at Kempinski The Spa

The Kempinski Hotel in Ajman is the oldest hospitality establishment on that scenic beach-facing strip of the Northern Emirates. I have entered its regal premises earlier, having been invited for a #ZomatoMeetup at Sabella’s, the organic Italian restaurant. This time round, I visited their spa.

Who doesn’t fancy a day at the spa? Its the perfect excuse to unwind, relax and let the toll of everyday stress and anxiety wean away. Kempinski The Spa has a classic, simplistic layout with a spacious, brightly lit reception area where guests are greeted by ever-smiling staff.

Morgan Taylor Launch (Cavalli Club, Dubai)

I was invited to a very exclusive event this week at the absolutely spectacular, Swarovski encrusted venue of Cavalli Club, Dubai. However, we were not here to muse over drinks alone; we had the company of nail art royalty in our midst!

This was the launch of American nail lacquer brand Morgan Taylor. With a range of colours more diverse than rainbows, the brand offers premium quality nail-polishes in sophisticated, ergonomically designed packaging. If you haven’t heard of this brand, chances are you’ve heard (and used!) their sister product, Gelish!

Shiffa Beauty: Olive and Mint Cold Pressed Arabian Soap

I am a huge fan of natural, organic beauty products, and as a Dubai dweller, I am extremely proud of Shiffa, a home-grown organic beauty brand conceptualized and created by Dr. Lamees Hamdan.

The name ‘Shiffa‘ is derived from the Arabic word meaning ‘to heal’. Delving into the beauty secrets of ancient Arabia, the brand encompasses a unique holistic stance at skincare. At the Sephora Middle East event last month, I spent a good deal of time chatting with the ladies at the Shiffa counter. They are introducing a host of brand new products for Summer 2016, and many of their best-loved formulas are getting a makeover, ensuring they are now 90% organic.

Michael Kors Extreme Blue Review

Sephora Middle East recently held a bloggers’ event at the scenic surroundings of Cove Beach (Jumeirah Beach Hotel). This was a sneak preview highlighting exciting new additions to the Sephora shelves, and one of the items in my goodie bag included the Michael Kors Extreme Blue eau de toilette spray for men. Hooray! A Journey Into Yoga by Nouf

Yoga is not a passing phase, it is an ancient art of well-being that has been practiced for centuries. I introduced you to the lovely Sue Flamm, founder of Puja Yoga, in a recent blog post.
