Magnum ice-cream and I go back a long time. I’ve had a love affair with this calorie-laden, Belgian chocolate coated yumminess for as long as I can remember. Back home in New Zealand, they’d come up with limited edition Magnum flavours, and I remember taking over the family freezer when they introduced the absolutely divine Honeycomb edit where the milk chocolate casing was bejewelled with crunchy hokeypokey and the inner ice-cream was this golden-hued honeycomb flavour. If you’ve ever fallen in love with a Magnum limited edition and wept for weeks after it melted into history, this special store is a real dream come true. Have a go at the world-renowned dipping bar experience where you get to create custom Magnum bars of your choice. Choose silky vanilla bean or rich chocolate ice cream bars and hand-dip them in dark, milk or white chocolate. Finish off with three toppings from a selection of 18 premium ingredients including rose petals, chocolate blossoms, raspberry crunch and even chili flakes. Let your imaginative taste-buds take the lead!
The store itself is a work of art with beautifully decorated bold art-deco interiors with a nod to the classic Magnum gold and brown colours reminding patrons of Magnum’s timeless link to pleasure.
