As a part of my bedtime beauty regime, I love a good, highly moisturizing body butter. Even in the peak of summer, I feel certain areas need extra TLC and I therefore prefer highly nourishing formulations.

I am becoming a huge fan of Abu Dhabi-born organic beauty brand Womn Cosmetics. Conceptualized and created (hand-made to boot!) by husband and wife duo Goran and Nena, every product in their range is loaded with natural goodness. I was therefore elated to receive a jar of their Avocado Dream body butter.

First off, like most of the foodies out there, I love anything and everything with avocado in it! I was curious to see if this product would get me hungry, and the very notion it has avocado told me it must be highly nourishing.

 

The Packaging

The Womn Cosmetics Avocado Dream body butter comes in a glass jar with a screw-on metal lid. The glass is transparent and reveals a cream that has is a very pale green, akin to the inside of an avocado.

I love the name of this product! It is rare to find an avocado-based body cream, so it really is a dream come true 🙂

Tezzy’s Experience with the Womn Cosmetics Avocado Dream Body Butter

First off the scent… I fell in love with the aromatic scent of lavender as soon as I opened this jar. Lavender has long been used to calm the senses and administer a sense of well-being. This is just the mini treat I need before hitting the sack after a long, stressful day at work.

The product itself is decadently smooth and creamy, and has this deliciously cooling effect as soon as it touches the skin. It feels so different from the commercially made versions I’ve been using earlier.

I’ve been using this cream on my arms, legs and feet and after a mere week of usage, I’ve seen a very noticeable difference. My skin looks and feels nourished, and doesn’t even crave moisturizing throughout the day.

I’ve transferred some product to a smaller container to carry with me to work. I use it for my hands and cuticles, and once again the scent of lavender and the luxuriously rich, creamy coolness of the cream is a real treat.

For some, this body butter might feel a little too rich. I would recommend this product to people who are on the lookout for some serious skin nourishing, and perhaps reserve this for the bedtime regime.

Retailing at AED 100 for a 130 ml jar, the Womn Cosmetics Avocado Dream body butter is a real steal given it is absolutely loaded with natural organic goodness.

I am so addicted to this product, that a week on, its already half gone! Need to place an order in for my next jar soon.
