A celebrity tattoo artist turned beauty maven, Kat Von D is a girl after my own heart #girlcrush The highlight of my week was receiving an entire stash of the brand new Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liners. From basic nudes to perky reds, passionate purples and absolutely craaay colors only Kat can do, the range has something for every kinda girl out there.
I was going to swatch all the colors for you (will do… keep watching this space), but this morning I was hit with an absolutely brilliant idea… what better way to honor the Queen of Tatts than a tatt inspired swatch? I played with the following shades of the Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liners:
- Rosary: A deep maroon-like red.
- X: A bright red with a hint of orange brightness.
- Smiths: A peachy pink.
- Swanly: A near-white beige.
- Lemmy: A deep emerald green.

The texture of the product is super creamy, and the colors are so highly pigmented. What I liked best about these is that they are also so blendable. Imagine all the possibilities when blending on so many different shades together.

The colors dry pretty quickly (in under a minute), and once on they don’t budge. We even went swimming with these tatts on, and they barely faded after a good 2 hours in the pool.
When worn on the lips (like they should be lol!), they last me through the day even between my regular sips of coffee. However, post-lunch calls for some minor touch-ups.
