With an artful eye for immaculate detailing, Gaurang Shah has been instrumental in the revival of traditional Indian weaves, and his creativity has re-molded the quintessential 6-yard sari as we know it.
A veteran of the prestigious Lakme Fashion Week, Gaurang Shah hails from Hyderabad. With humble beginnings as an apprentice at his father’s sari shop, Gaurang developed a fascination for Indian saris and the intricate mismatch of colours from a tender age.
Great news Dubai… For the very first time ever, Gaurang Shah is doing a Solo Show on 17th September at the Opera Ballroom, Taj Dubai. This exclusive invite-only event will showcase his latest traditional Indian handwoven collections, just in time before the Diwali and Eid festivities. This special solo show has been given the title “Shringar” Festive Collection.
