Would you wear beachwear for a night about town? With the beautiful pieces from Blue Ink Beachwear, this is absolutely a ‘can do’. We showed you how to take swimwear to the boardroom (click here) and how to cover it up stylishly by the pool (click here). The girls and I are now back with the Night Out edition 🙂
Apart from swimwear, Blue Ink Beachwear offers a wide collection of beachwear including kaftans, flowy maxi dresses and the very striking open-fronted Natasha silk skirt. Both Rosa and I fell in love with this piece, and incorporated it into our Night Out outfits.
Rosa: Dressing Up The Classic Cami & Shorts Combo
Pairing my favorite camisole with shorts is one of my go-to looks for summer. The look is a summer classic, but oftentimes looks a little too simplistic for a night out. Rosa wears Blue Ink Beachwear’s Natasha open-front skirt on top of her shorts to add a whole new dimension to this much-worn look.
The touch of luxurious printed silk adds a feminine touch to the otherwise very casual look. The Natasha skirt features an absolutely gorgeous animal-inspired print that is versatile enough to wear with any colour combination.
With a skirt this pretty, a girl can’t help but swirl!
Tezzy: Leather & Silk
The Natasha skirt even manages to work with my rather grunge leather look. I am wearing the Blue Ink Beachwear Zanzibar swimsuit under a leather vest, and paired it with black leather pants.
Wearing the Natasha skirt over the leather pants adds softness to an otherwise edgy look.
Anisha: Vamping Up The Sheena
Anisha is wearing the black, sombre Blue Ink Beachwear Sheena dress. The beauty of a plain black dress like this is that it acts as a canvas for highlighting key accessories. In Anisha’s case, she vamps it up with a bold bolted silver belt.
Wearing a belt with the otherwise straightcut dress accentuates Anisha’s waistline. The Sheena dress has seductively high slits on both ends, and the belt elevates these just that bit more. Wear it with a jacket for a conservative look, or do away with it for more vavavoom!
I hope you liked our ‘Night Out’ looks! We also played around with a few Boho-inspired looks with the Blue Ink Beachwear pieces. Stay tuned!
