I am a scarf hoarder, and can’t resist picking up pieces with particularly eye-catching prints and colour combinations. A scarf is a versatile summer wardrobe must-have, and I just wanted to do a recap on how I manage to wear one of my favorites in three totally different styles:
We are in the age of advocating recycling, and here I am recycling an old post you might have missed 🙂 I bought this scarf from Zara about a year ago, and love its funky leopard print and gorgeous turquoise hue. So fresh and summery without being a cliche floral I’d say!
- As a Scarf: Duhh! Pretty obvious this one It also doubles up as a shawl for the chilling A/C and a cover-up from the midday sun.
- Bolero: Fold the scarf in half, and tie the two ends of each corner together. Slip your arms through each hole for a funky, one-of-a-kind bolero!
- The Halterneck Dress: With the scarf open against your back, take two corners in both hands. Pull the right corner over the left of your neck, and do vice versa for the other. Tie the two ends behind the neck. This look is perfect for covering up by the poolside!
Oh but wait! The absolutely adorable YouTuber Michelle Phan has more than 10 ways of wearing a scarf. From casually cute to sophisticated and sexy, her tutorials below have me hooked:
