Last weekend, we stayed at Radisson Blu Ajman, and had dinner at Filini. The fully licenced Italian restaurant has stunning, welcoming interiors complete with a real-life Vespa at the front, a rose-gold coffee urn and other interesting artifacts from an Italy we envision when flipping through travel magazines.
I am a big fan of Suchita Stylista, the Indo-Western fashion label created by locally based German-Indian designer Suchita Pandey. With roots in the heart of Rajasthan, the collection is inspired by the folklore of cultural fabrics and hand-dyed traditions yet recreated for the silhouette of the modern woman.

Magnum ice-cream and I go back a long time. I’ve had a love affair with this calorie-laden, Belgian chocolate coated yumminess for as long as I can remember. Back home in New Zealand, they’d come up with limited edition Magnum flavours, and I remember taking over the family freezer when they introduced the absolutely divine Honeycomb edit where the milk chocolate casing was bejewelled with crunchy hokeypokey and the inner ice-cream was this golden-hued honeycomb flavour.
