Fancy some sushi with a difference? Head to The Palm Jumeirah’s new-age Japanese foodie destination, Miyabi Sushi & Bento and treat yourself to a whole new array of artisan sushis at a very affordable price range.
The tastefully done up interiors look all at once suave and modernesque, and is a perfect setting for catching up with friends after a busy day at work.
Miyabi Sushi invited us in for a sneak peek into how their signature dishes are created. We learnt how to make H&S Sake Sashimi. This consists of raw salmon stuffed with sesame seeds and a combination of four different sauces.
We had a go at making the H&S Sake Sashimi ourselves. It didn’t look quite as professional, but still had the complex mix of conglomerated flavors. I for one love raw salmon, and found this to be a little too saucy for my liking. Perhaps just one sauce or two would be enough for me.
Isn’t is amazing how the pros make it look so very simple?! I know I can never do this at home, so I’ll just have to pay Miyabi Sushi a visit whenever I happen to be at The Palm.
Below is a closeup of all the sushis we got to indulge in. Miyabi Sushi’s Rainbow Sushi not only looks very appetizing, but was also unanimously the favorite from the night.
Miyabi Sushi is located in the Palm Views East, The Trunk, Palm Jumeirah.
