Established in Dubai over 9 years ago, Dish Catering is a unique catering and events management concept that received phenomenal reviews for their very first stint at Iftars last Ramadan.

Their Iftars are back this year from Friday 26th May right on till the end of Ramadan. This second edition will be hosted at Warehouse Four, Al Quoz. #OOTD The Zara Pink Peasant Jacket

“How on earth do you wear a jacket in this heat?!” I raised quite a few eyebrows with my last outfit post, but lets face it… we need jackets even in a UAE summer! With the air-conditioning blaring indoors, I’ve always carried a spare pashmina in my bag.

And look around you… the fashion shelves are heaving with absolutely gorgeous jackets screaming to be worn! The trick is choosing the right kind of material. Beauty Review: The GOSH Infinity Eye Liners

I was recently sent a whole bag of eye-makeup goodies from GOSH Cosmetics. It’s always exciting finding GOSH in my deliveries; this drugstore brand hailing from Copenhagen (Denmark) continuously strives to deliver innovative, high-quality products at very affordable prices. Best of all, the entire range is paraben-free, fragrance free, cruelty free and vegan (barring the beeswax in their lipsticks).

Seafood Feasting at Aprons & Hammers (Dubai International Marine Club)

Last week I had the pleasure of being a part of the launch of a French skincare icon, Rogé Cavaillès. From body lotions and oils to an entire range of body washes and intimate cleansers, the brand has been keeping the French beautiful since 1924!

BB Now CC? The Erborian CC Crème Review

The Koreans have always been miles ahead of the pack when it comes to skincare. They gave us sheet-masks, and the very convenient ‘all in one’ BB creams. BB (or Blemish Balm) creams now have a newer, more innovative little sister; the CC Cream! CC stands for ‘Color Correcting’, and the main premise of this new category of skincare is to even out pigmentation, and work as an all-round moisturizer.

Lunch at Dalloyau: A Slice of French Gastronomic History

The French are famous for their desserts, and living in Dubai, we are spoilt for choice with a wide variety of high-quality patisseries. One of my personal favorites has always been Dalloyau. With a deep-rooted French history dating back to 1682, Dalloyou was created for the bourgeoisie, the upper class of Paris who demanded a distinct quality and taste.

Dalloyau has always been one of my favorite spots for an indulgent sweet treat. I have frequented their branches in Deira City Centre, Mirdiff City Centre and Mall of the Emirates. However, I have only recently sat at Dalloyau for a complete meal. Our lunch at the Mirdiff City Centre branch last week proved to me that Dalloyau is far more than a patisserie for desserts.

The La Familia brunch runs from 12 noon to 4 pm every weekend, with packages ranging from AED 395 to 695, inclusive of champagne. But let me take you through the gastronomic Mediterranean-style menu we were served… wholesome, beautifully plated, and lip-smackingly delicious!
