I took a deep-dive pore plunge this morning with the Ole Henriksen Cold Plunge Pore Mask!

Scandinavian skincare brand Ole Henriksen took inspiration from their homeland’s spa tradition of ending a hot sauna treatment with a cold plunge into the sea with this delightfully bright turquoise cooling mud mask.

Last week, I had the pleasure of attending the Sephora Middle East Fall 2019 event and spent a great deal of time at the Kat Von D Beauty stall. Love this tattoo artist turned beauty mogul! I’m a sucker for art, great packaging and surreal shades of color, and Kat seems to effortlessly dish it all out time and time again.

Kat Von D Beauty has now come out with a brand new medium-coverage foundation range, and being a brand that values inclusion of all, the range is launching with 40 shades that cover very fair to very deep shades.

I’ve always been fascinated by perfumists. They are artists who hold an invisible easel, and are guided by a gifted nose.

At the recent Sephora Middle East Spring 2019 Multi-Brand event, I was fascinated by the ‘By Kilian’ booth. Loud neon lit-up letters shot out a bold question, “What’s Your Kind Of Love?” This heady title is a teaser to a brand new range of eau de parfums entitled ‘My Kind Of Love’ by master perfumist Kilian Hennessy.

I think I’ve found the holy grail for mascaras. It comes in this eclectic hexagonal tube, so akin to everything super-stylish to come out from the ‘Marc Jacobs’ label.

It brings my barely-there lashes to life, like you can actually see them! Thick and luscious sans any annoying clumps with just a single sweep. A second coat gives me the ‘vavavoom’ look of false lashes. I’m talking about the epic Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara.

I’ve been a peroxide blonde for nearly 3 years now, and pretty addicted to the color. The countdown is on for a recoloring session, but I’m dreading the backlash the chemical cocktails have on my hair. Bleaching strips my hair of natural hydration and gives my ends this hay-like dryness that is definitely never hitting the glam-squad charts any time soon.

I’ve invested heavily in leave-in hair serums and conditioning masks. Most seem to work, but only temporarily. And I find myself dousing my mane with conditioning promises and finishing off bottle-fulls by the week.

I had the pleasure of attending the Fall/Winter 2018 Sephora Middle East press launch last month, and got introduced to Briogeo; a natural hair-care range hailing from New York.

If you follow me on Instagram, you already know I’m a sucker for great highlighters. Of all the highlighters I’ve had the pleasure of trying, my unbiased favorite is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed Powder in C-Pop. It’s a universally flattering shade, and no one seems to get the formulation as spot-on as Becca. Their pressed powder highlighters are so beautifully milled with just the right amount of believable sheen, and they never expose unsightly pores as many ‘sparklier’ counterparts tend to do.

Whilst the C-Pop has this gorgeous pale pink champagne hue that sits well for day to night, the Gold Pop shade is all out glamorous and perfect for that Summer Diva look.

Lucky me! I got sent the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector in Gold Pop, in all 3 formulations; liquid, cream and pressed powder. How do these formulations differ, and which one suits your beauty needs? Read on for more.
