I had the pleasure of attending Fashion Forward Season 5 this month, and on Sunday 12th April Lebanese born Lama Jouni debuted in the Dubai fashion scene with her Autumn-Winter 2015 collection.
I shared a few sneak peaks from her collection with you here, and in today’s post we talk to Lama herself; her enviably fashionable background, her passion for design, and her invaluable tips every woman should be aware of.
If you have been following my product review posts under ‘Beauty’, you already know I am somewhat addicted to the Neal’s Yard Remedies Frankincense range. The key ingredient in this range is frankincense essential oil.
But what is Frankincense? And why has Neal’s Yard Remedies dedicated a whole range of skincare products to this age-old essential oil?
Nando’s has long been a family favorite. We love our spicy food, and given its budget-friendly menu offerings, their flavorful fire-grilled chicken makes a far healthier alternative over regular junkfood. *Colonel Saunders heaves a heavy cholesterol-laden sigh*.
Last weekend, we drove up to Al Qasba, Sharjah and ended up having dinner at the Nando’s branch there.
I introduced you to Justyna Stocklosa in my previous post on blogging. Justyna’s Instagram page entitled Fit Shortie Eats has made her a bit of a celebrity in the world of clean eating.
Today we take a peek into her life; on turning fruitarian overnight, staying fit, managing an enviably stress-free life, and her passion for food photography. She’s one impressive chic. I told you I have phenomenal friends!
What is Fashion Forward? Concluding it’s fifth season this year, Fashion Forward (or FFWD) is a platform for topnotch designers of the Middle East region to showcase their talent.
The catwalk was ablaze all weekend with show-stopping creations by the Middle East’s finest designers, many debuting for the first time round. Each lent a different element of drama to the show. From folklore and fairytales, to new-age symmetry and grunge, FFWD Season 5 was a feast for the eyes.
Below is a pictorial summary of some of the jaw-dropping catwalk creations seen at FFWD. All photography used in this post is courtesy Getty Images.
