One day to go for the Numaish Festive Fair! Can’t wait to splurge on the latest in Indian fashion this Friday and Saturday. It’s happening at the Godolphin Ballroom, Emirates Towers from 11 am to 8 pm.

One of my favorite sari designers, Anavila will be showcasing her latest Autumn/Winter 2018 collection at Numaish this weekend.

 

Anavila is not your everyday glitzy sari brand. Taking an eco-conscious stance, the brand prides itself in using ethically sourced materials and creating jobs for local artisans by harnessing their age-old talent at the handlooms.

 

An Anavila sari never screams for attention, yet its subtly speaks volumes on the stories behind its creation.

 

This red and metallic gold sari is probably one of the brightest to ever come out of the Anavila family.

 

I really wish I had better sari-draping skills. Promise to take this on more seriously.

I just might splurge on another Anavila creation this weekend… and yes, I will share posts to keep you updated 🙂
