Kempinski Ajman has to be one of my favorite hotel properties in the UAE. The ambiance here exudes an old-world charm with hauntingly beautiful deep woods, classic lounge areas and a very scenic sandy private beach.
Given the temperatures are finally cooling down, Kempinski Ajman’s Friday Garden Brunch is now up and running in full swing. We were here a year ago, and were more than happy to revisit last Friday.
The brunch runs every Friday from 1 to 4. We got there a little after 2, and the place was packed!
The brunch features a buffet that starts from Cafe Kranzler, and spreads out to the wide veranda and immaculately tended gardens of the property, with a stunning facade of the sea.
From enticing kebabs, daal soup and chaat from award-winning Indian gem Bukhara, to a pasta live station by Sabella, the Kempinski Ajman Friday Garden Brunch is a great way to get a taste of the different restaurants within the property.
The buffet includes a very large variety of international salads, a counter for a very delectable Foie Gras tart that is oh so ‘fine dining’, and a very spectacular lineup of desserts.
My favorites from the dessert isle included the very unusual Pistachio Eclairs and a very exotic Mango Sago with Date Syrup.
On the porch, there’s even more to line up for! From freshly made shawarmas and sliders done just the way you like it, a Chinese wok station, to a live barbeque catering to everything from steaks and seafood to grilled fruit, it really is impossible to sample everything here in one sitting.
At one corner of the veranda is Zanzibar, the property’s very own bar renowned for its interesting cocktails. The margaritas here are phenomenal!
What I love best about this brunch is that it is so kid-friendly! The buffet has a dedicated area for kid-friendly food including fish and chips, chicken nuggets, sliders and a fridge full of healthy smoothies and ice-cream!
They also have this lovely lady who goes from table to table doing balloon twisting, and if you visit her at her corner by the entrance, she even does face painting for the little ones.
As if this isn’t enough, a booking at the Friday Garden Brunch automatically gives you a pass to the private beach! Pick up your complimentary beach towels, find a beach chair to recline on and watch the sunset, sip on a fancy cocktail and end a food-filled Friday on a very chilled out note.
The Kempinski Ajman Friday Garden Brunch runs every Fridays from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
