Happy Thursday! The countdown to the weekend has begun 🙂 Where are you brunching this weekend? For me, weekends have always been a family affair and I therefore prefer a place that keeps my little munchkin in mind. Here is a rundown of some of the fabulous kid-friendly brunches I have had the pleasure of trying (and that are highly recommended by my 5 year-old as well!).
Yalumba
The only brunch in town where diners spontaneously get up and dance, Yalumba keeps the party entertaining by changing the theme every so often.
Our first stint with Yalumba was their ‘Bubbly Brunch’ with free-flowing champagne. My little one was delighted with her feathered masquerade.
We were back last weekend for their Mad Hatter’s Brunch. The buffet is pretty much identical, but this time round we got to wear all these ‘mad’ hats that would make the original hatter from Alice in Wonderland green with envy.
Every Saturday, the Yalumba brunch is even more kid-friendly. They dedicate an area for interactive play, complete with face-painting and crafts.
Yalumba is located on the Lobby Level of Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre (Airport Road, Garhoud) Dubai. Given the popularity of the place, I would strongly recommend table reservations; call 04 2170000.
Fume
Fume, the quirky neighbourhood eatery located in Pier 7, Dubai Marina has a dedicated play area for the little ones every Friday.
Best of all, they even do a special kid-friendly buffet, and it only costs AED 30 per child.

Boulevard Kitchen
My little girl has been pestering me to take her back to this brunch. The little ones are kept preoccupied with art and craft, giving us grownups enough time and space to ravage through their extensive buffet selection. Click here for more details.
