The beautifully breezy ‘winter’ days in Dubai are slowly but surely sweltering out. Although we do not have an official ‘spring’ season this part of the world (think summer, hotter summer and a mild, breezy winter!), the fashion police make it a point we are dressed up all pretty for this elusive season.

This fashionably Spring season, Pinko is reintroducing the floral femininity of the sixties and seventies. Their playful dresses showcase botanical motifs in swirling fabrics and ladylike silhouettes. These make me want to delve into elaborate tea parties and take out all that fine china from the cupboard!

I have my eyes on this particularly stunning Antenna Abito Dress by Pinko. Retailing for AED 2099 (ouch!). It is a lovely shade of peachy pink, and I love the stunning cutout detailing on the bodice.

I would pair this dress with the contrasting blue of Steve Madden’s Sassey Suedee Lace-Up Stiletto Heels. Retailing for AED 369, this gorgeous pair is also available in red, purple and black. In blue, I can get humming to the likes of Elvis, “Don’t you step on my blue suede shoes” 🙂

Given the dress has so much detail, and the heels are a colorful statement piece on their own, I’d keep my jewelry to a minimum. Can someone please gift me the Rainbow Meadow Bangle by Trollbeads? Pretty please? 🙂 Trollbeads is the original beads-on-bracelet brand, originating from Copenhagen (Denmark) in 1976. This particular bangle is from their 2016 Spring Collection.
