Dining at Wok & Co at Ibis Central is nothing short of magical. Apart from my love for their wide range of Pan-Asian favorites, the interiors of this restaurant are absolutely spectacular. I’ve dined here a number of times for dinner, and love their cozy, dimly lit booths that make for a perfect date night setting, and I was recently back for a lunch catchup with a friend. The place takes on a different beauty flooded in the sunlight.

The foodie scene of Dubai is fast evolving, and new players are introduced into the market every month. Yet only a handful can bashfully say they’ve been around for over a decade. Golden Dragon goes well past that milestone, having opened shop in Oud Metha (Dubai) as far back as 1976.
Originally an Indo-Chinese restaurant, Golden Dragon has recently revamped their menu to include more pan-Asian flavors to entice a wider set of diners. The new menu includes delectable wok-tossed dishes, soulful Thai soups, and a long lineup of interesting Dim Sums.
We took our tastebuds on a culinary tour around the Far East last week thanks to the elaborate spread at Toshi, Grand Millennium – Dubai. Although its name might suggest strong Japanese roots, Toshi is a pan-Asian restaurant offering a delicious fare from Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and China.
You can opt to order a la carte, but a better foodie choice would be to try the restaurant’s buffet. The buffet changes every day of the week, and we were there on a Monday, trying out their Asian Barbeque & Satay Night.
Wok & Co is one of the newest Asian restaurants to enter the Dubai foodie scene. Located on the Ground Floor of Ibis One Central (near Dubai Trade Center), the interior decor of this place had me floored upon entering.
