Makeup looks for fall are usually predominated with deep browns, a touch of gold shimmer and deep, dark lips. Playing with my palettes this morning, this is what I came up with:
Here’s a click of the beauty goodies that went into creating this look:
For the base, I used the Lancome Miracle Cushion Foundation. This is a light, dewy foundation that is super easy to use, especially with a Beauty Blender. Read the complete review on this product here.
I used Urban Decay’ Naked Palette for my eyes:
- Virgin and Sin blended together on the brow line.
- Hustle in the crease.
- Dark Horse on the lids.
- Smog at the center of the lids for a pop of shimmer.
I did a thick Cat Eye flick on my upper lids with Makeup Forever’s Aqua Liner in Diamond Multicolor Black. This deep black water-proof liquid liner has a gorgeous shimmer of gold that makes it just that bit more special as compared to your usual black.
To add a pop of color, I lined my waterline with Makeup Forever’s Aqua Matic Water-Proof Glide On Eye-Shadow in Iridescent Turquoise. This looks more green than turquoise to me, and I love the vibrancy of this pencil. It really adds a fun punch of color to the overall look.
I used Makeup Forever’s Aqua Brow on my brows. This helps to fill them up, and give them more shape and definition.
On my lips, I’m wearing Makeup Forever’s Rouge Artist Intense lipstick in Satin Blackcurrant. This deep, dark near-purple shade is perfect for the fall look, and just that little bit different from the conventional burgundy shades.
I contoured the face for a more chiseled look using the Too Faced Cocoa Contour kit.
I finished off the look with the Too Faced Soul Mates Blush Bronzer Duo in Ross and Rachel. Love this cute heart-shaped duo. Will be posting a complete review on this product soon, so stay tuned!
