Tucked away in the lush greenery of the Al Barari estate is a restaurant offering a uniquely serene and scenic experience. The Farm Al Barari was conceptualized and created by the Zaal family of the UAE, and the sole ethos of this restaurant revolves around dishing out soul-satisfying food in an ambiance to suit.

The Farm Al Barari Dubai Ramadan Menu review (3)

In operation for over 3 years now, The Farm owes its name to its initial concept of using produce from its very own garden. However, the restaurant has since overgrown the 28 pax capacity, and outsources the finest ingredients available at any given time. Given the need for freshness, the menu at The Farm keeps changing seasonally.

The holy month of Ramadan is upon us, and with it comes a plethora of Iftar options around the city. Living in Dubai, we are truly blessed with the diversity of cuisines on offer at an equally varied range of budgets to suit every kind of foodie.

If you are looking for a very Emirati experience, an Iftar at Barjeel Al Arab should not be missed. We were invited to the Iftar preview last night, and got a delicious glimpse into the colorful hospitality of the region’s past.

Barjeel Al Arab Iftar

Ramadan, the holy month of fasting, is soon upon us. This is a time for piety and personal reflection. In the Middle East, we are fortunate enough to have our working hours reduced significantly for the entire month, and this allows for more quality time with loved ones and socializing over delicious Iftar and Suhoor buffets.

Having the distinction of being recognized as the Middle East’s Luxury City Hotel by World Travel Awards and also being listed among the top 25 hotels in the region by Trip Advisor Reader’s Choice awards for two years running, an Iftar booking at The Oberoi Dubai is on a class of its own.

I had the pleasure of being invited to The Oberoi’s Iftar Preview last night. The event was held in the hotel’s very chic Nine7One restaurant, and was attended by a number of senior media personalities.

Kaftans, the modestly long flowing dress synonymous of the women of the Middle East, are also known as jalabiya and dara’a.

With the holy month of Ramadan fast approaching, the social calendar is filling up with Iftar invites and a stylish kaftan would make the ideal choice of attire.

The lovely ladies at Dalila’s Kaftans sent me this stunning red beauty, and I just had to share some clicks with you!
