Sephora Middle East is flooding with absolutely drool-worthy holiday makeup palettes, but if there’s one I really have to recommend splurging on, it has to be the Tarte Treasure Box Collector’s Set.
Makeup Tips
Meet the newest member of my makeup stash… the much talked about Urban Decay Velvetizer Translucent Mix-in Medium. I’m a makeup base rookie; I tend to reserve foundations for special occasions and am still learning the ropes on the art of base mixing (kinda sounds like a DJ work description if you ask me!).
A well-meaning makeup junkie friend of mine push me into buying the Urban Decay Naked Skin Loose Setting Powder many moons ago, and I religiously follow her instructions on using it as a base powder under my foundation as it promises longer wear. I thought the Velvetizer was an upgraded version of the same, but turns out it has a totally different purpose.
I got introduced to Canadian-born makeup brand Cover FX at the Sephora Middle East Summer 2017 launch, and have been contemplating on using the cute little Cover FX Click Cream Enhancer I was given ever since.
I am not sure why I took this long. As a beauty blogger I get inundated with a wide range of makeup goodies, and this wee product was getting side-tracked to the back of my trials list.
The Numaish Festive Fair came in with a sizzle, and ended with a bang. Last weekend saw a steady traffic of fashionistas filling up the narrow alleys of the exhibition, spoilt for choice with some of the finest designs and weaves from the subcontinent.
Citibank is Numaish’s official banking partner, and premium cardholders got access to the Citibank lounge where they could take a break from the shopping and sip on tea and coffee… and on Day 1, they even got to hang out with me 🙂
I got sent the High Impact Brows palette about a week ago, and have been using it ever since. I love compact, multitasking beauty products and this particular palette is a life-saver for girls on the run.
This palette, as the name suggests, was designed to help you up your eyebrow game. However, the four very earthy accommodating shades can be used as eyeshadows as well.
My latest vice is a serious addiction to makeup tutorials on YouTube. Educational and entertaining I’d say! And as a beauty blogger, it has introduced me to a whole new world of beauty brands and techniques.
One of my favorite makeup YouTubers has to be Jaclyn Hill, and when she collaborated with Becca to create this gorgeous trio palette of shimmer shades, I had to have it!
