Last weekend, I flooded my Insta Stories with
live updates from our weekend away at Radisson Blu Ajman. This is one of the
Radisson Blu group’s newest hotels and opened its doors a little over a year
Located in a quiet corner of the industrial
heart of Ajman, the grandeur of the hotel façade stands out with its European-inspired
arched windows and astute driveway. The location is actually ideal for tourists
wanting to explore the Northern Emirates as it is just off-road from the E11
highway that connects Ajman, Sharjah, Umm Al Quwain and Fujairah.
Last weekend, we stayed at Radisson Blu Ajman, and had
dinner at Filini. The fully licenced Italian restaurant has stunning, welcoming
interiors complete with a real-life Vespa at the front, a rose-gold coffee urn
and other interesting artifacts from an Italy we envision when flipping through
Aseelah is Dubai’s newest Emirati fine-dining restaurant, and is located in one of the city’s oldest hotel establishments; Radisson Blue – Deira, Dubai. With dazzling gilded interiors paying homage to the intricate architecture of the region, the restaurant is a spacious, welcoming abode for diners who are eager to get a taste of both traditional and contemporary Emirati cuisine.
My family and I dined at Aseelah a couple of weeks ago, and I have to say I was blown away by the talent of Chef Rabeh Adel Amer. My palette preference lean towards spicy, robust combinations, and I have often found regional dishes to be a little bland for my liking. Not the case here at all!
Have you been to the Radisson Blu branch in Business Bay? I was meeting a friend over lunch, and ended up driving to their all too familiar Deira branch. I wasn’t even aware they had a branch in Business Bay! Talk about being unobservant… especially considering I blog about food!
Radisson Blu’s Business Bay branch is located on Al Asayal Street, just a stone throw away from Downtown Dubai and Dubai Mall itself. It is the only international hotel chain in this corner of Dubai. The Business Bay branch looks and feels more brighter and airy than its older Deira counterpart. The lobby features fun and funky shades of lime green, and has a good deal of natural light streaming in.
We were having lunch at Radisson Blu’s Lemon Pepper restaurant. They have an impressive spread for as low as AED 89 per head.
