Sandwiched between Grand Habtoor and Le Royal Meridien Hotel in JBR Dubai, I have discovered yet another hidden gem. Cucina Mia is an Italian restaurant owned and operated by Italian Chef Domenico Serra, and is located on the ground floor of Trident Grand Residence (JBR).
‘Cucina Mia’ translates to ‘My Kitchen’, and this very endearing name lives up to its promise of offering unabashedly authentic, homely Italian dishes. But don’t take it from me! I was introduced to Cucina Mia by an Italian friend who vouches that the fare is just like how her Mama does it 🙂 What better way to explore a country’s cuisine than to dine with someone who grew up eating it?
When I first heard of 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, I thought the ‘800’ referred to a toll-free number. However, this numerical addition to one of Dubai’s newest pizza chains has a far more significant, customer-oriented reference than that.
800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria is a novel concept. Pizza served in this eatery is baked in a brick oven that is fired up to 800 degrees thanks to the imported almond tree bark used inside as fuel, and the pizza is ready to eat in 90 seconds flat!
If this speedy efficiency wasn’t enough to impress you, at 800 Degrees Neapolitan Pizzeria, customers can custom-make their very own creations in 3 easy-peasy steps!
I had the pleasure of being a part of the launch of Margherita Pizzeria’s very first branch in the UAE. The newly opened branch is located on 123 Sheikh Zayed Road, right next to the Financial Metro Station (Dubai) and offers a tantalizing range of Neapolitan specialty dishes.
As a media invitee, we were treated to a smorgasbord of the restaurant’s signature dishes and ofcourse this included their Margherita Pizza!
What tops a fun-filled sunny winter’s morning with the family? Having fun for a noble cause ofcourse, and top that with lots of yummy, mouth-watering Italian pizza!
The Pizza Company sponsored the 2nd Annual Fun Fair at the Dubai Center for Special Needs this month.
Apart from The Pizza Company’s signature pizza and pasta dishes, the grounds of the Dubai Center for Special Needs was abuzz with various craft stalls and play areas that kept the little ones preoccupied.
