How to Use:

Simply spritz onto the face from approximately 8cm away. Apply before makeup as a primer base, post-makeup to set, and halfway through the day to refresh.

The Verdict:

First off, I love the tropical scent! Some claim it is a wee bit too ‘coconutty’, but to me it smells like an exotic holiday and my skin laps it up, feeling absolutely refreshed.

I love it as a setting spray, keeping in mind to spritz at an 8cm distance to avoid my makeup from dripping off. It makes foundation look more dewy and natural, which I love.

Best of all, I love to use it halfway through the day. You know that feeling when you’d love to splash your face with ice-cold water but then must refrain from the urge due to the meticulous amount of time you spent doing your makeup? Well here’s your answer… spray without smudging, and look absolutely refreshed to boot!

When it comes to the primer function, I am a little more skeptical. For those using a primer to smooth out uneven skin, a spritz just doesn’t cut it. However, this spray has a mild stickiness that works well as a foundation base, keeping it all in place after it dries in.

The Negatives:

–        There may be cheaper alternatives for a facial refresher (good old rose water anyone?)

–        You either love or hate the scent

–        Not an ideal primer. Best used as a refreshing mist.
